Trilogy
Performances from 2004.
In the near future, we will be voting for
the MVP, Cy Young and Fireman of the Year awards for each league. Here is a quick glance of the leaders in a few categories this season.
Batting Champion
Derek Jeter of the Chemung Crawdads came out
of nowhere to win the 2004 TBBL Batting Crown with a .355
average.
Home Run Leader
Brett Boone of the Florida Devils socked the
most HR's this season with 55. Boone was at or near the top in most
offensive categories this year and should warrant some consideration for
the MVP honor in the American League.
RBI Leader
Boone also led the league in RBI's with
157.
Wins Leader
Two members of the Kentucky Wildcats led the
TBBL in wins with 22. Tim Wakefield (22-5) and Kevin Brown (22-9)
were dynamite for the Wildcats all year.
ERA Leader
Javier Vasquez of the Moon Raiders posted
the lowest ERA of the season, 2.39. Vasquez emerged as the Ace of
the Raiders staff in the second half.
Saves Leader
Eric Gagne of the Kentucky Wildcats was our
saves leader with 40. Gagne only blew 3 save chances all year.
