2007 American League Division Series

Game 1 -- The Scythe take game one behind the great pitching of Kelvim Escobar.  Escobar went 7 innings holding Jersey to 2 runs while Cuddyer and Mauer each hit solo HR's.

Game 2 -- Jersey stole game 2 via an 8th inning wild picth taking the game 5-4.  Lackey was strong while Scot Shields had a 2 inning save.

Game 3 -- The pivotal game of the series saw Jersey smoke Salem scoring 12 runs total.  Omar Vizquel was a perfect 5 for 5 with 6 RBI in the game.  Ortiz homered.

Game 4 -- The Slyme take this 14 inning marathon 7-4.  There were 36 combined strike outs in the game.  Bulpens were fried, leading to the controversal move in game 5.  Series tied 2-2.

Game 5 -- Jersey takes the 3-2 series lead with a 6-5 win in game 5.  Dontrelle Willis got the start and gave up 5 hits to the first 11 batters he faced and was pulled in favor of Jason Schmidt.  Willlis' ERA was 7.04 for the series.  Schmidt held the Scyhe to 2 runs over 3 innings while Jersey held tough.  Mike Rivera's pinch hit grand salami in the 8th tied the game which was then won in the bottom of the 12th. 

Game 6 -- Salem jumped out to an early 3-1 lead but Jersey battled back and won the game 8-4.  Lackey went 6 innings giving way to Jamie Walker and Jon Huber for the final 3.  With the pen tired, Walker and Huber were just what Jersey needed.  8 1/3 scoreless innings from the duo during the series.  Jersey wins 4 games to 2 to advance to the ALCS.
