The Isotopes held the best record in the TBBL in 2018 and secured home field advanatage midway through September.  Their opponent is a proven veteran in the TBBL coming off an upset in the WC game.  Springfield is built for now and is led by Betts, Correa and Freeman and have terrific SP.  Look for Springfield to lean heavily on their starters in this series.

The San Antonio Saints took down Colorado in the WC game and set their sights on the beast of the TBBL in this round of the playoffs.  Ian Kennedy may be the most pivotal SP in the series for San Antonio as will be Giancarlo Stanton at the plate.  Stanton had 65 bombs during the regular season and will need some more this round for the Saints to advance.
Prediction:  Springfield in 4 Games (Correct but in 5 games)

The cream of the crop in the TBBL advances to the LCS.

Isotopes take the first two games by a combined score of 14-3.  Alan gets some home-cooking going for the Saints and they return the favor by winning the next two by a combined score of 17-5.

Game 5 is tied 1-1 heading into the bottom of the 5th when the Isotopes get back-to-back two-out singles from Seager and Correa to go up 3-1.  A Josh Donaldson solo shot in the 8th pads the lead.  Carl Edwards sets the Saints down 1-2-3 in the 9th to preserve the 4-1 win.

Isotopes hit .213 for the series and are clearly fortunate to be able to advance.

Thanks to Alan for giving me all that I could handle and then some.  What a classy guy that Alan is...always a tough out, for sure!
