American League Division Series Round (Best of 5 Format)
AL Division Series --- Jersey Damage (105-57)  verse Springfield Isotopes (108-54)
Instant Classic!  Jersey and Springfield met on a cold, rainy night to play their series H2H and the fans were not disappointed.  Jersey won the series in 5 games, led by MVP Justin Verlander who threw a gem in game 5.  Aaron Judge paced the offense with 3 HR and 5 walks.

Game 1 - Jersey wins 5-1 as Verlander cruises through 6 and Judge homers.

Game 2 - Springfield shuts out Jersey 3-0 behind six scoreless from Alex Cobb.  A first inning homer from Freddie Freeman and 2 late runs evened the series.

Game 3 - Jersey jumps out to a 5-0 lead after two at bats and holds on for a 7-4 win.  Judge homers again and Brian Reynolds secures the win with a late homer after a Judge intentional walk.

Game 4 - Spring shuts out Jersey again winning 7-0.  Isotopes put up 5 in the 2nd inning and cruise to the win.  Homers by Hill and Contreras forces a game 5 back in Springfield.

Game 5 - This was the instant classic!  Springfield jumps out to a 1-0 lead after 2 Jersey errors in the 3rd inning.  Judge homers in the 7th to tie the game and the Jersey pen goes to work.  Edwin Diaz relieves Verlander in the 7th and gets 7 outs keeping the game tied 1-1 heading to extras.  In the bottom of the 8th, Springfield loaded the bases with two outs then brought up Matt Carpenter to pinch hit.  Diaz struck him out stranding all three runners.  Top 10th, Springfield gets two quick outs then Jersey mounts a rally.  Semien singles, Perez gets plunked and Jersey calls on Alex Verdugo to hit for JP Crawford.  Verdugo lined a single to left scoring Semien, Judge then intentionally walked ( 4th time in the series) and Reynolds forces in the 3rd run after getting hit by a Bard pitch.  Jersey leads 3-1 heading to bottom 10.  Doval relieved an exhausted Diaz and wasn't good.  He walked one, gave up a double to Betts then hit a batter forcing in a run.  Springfield loaded the bases again, Jersey brought in Helsley who got Alex Call to line out to third ending the game.

Probably the most fun I've had playing H2H.  Thanks John for making the time.
