The
2009 American League All Stars are 2-3 in the five previous
All Star Games and haven't won since 2006. This years's
team had no unanimous picks at any positions and saw a total of
38 players receive votes. Dave Pittner of the defending
World Series Champion Carefree Coyotes will manage this years
club.
