Nears as Stars Prepare
The 1st Annual All-Star Game went to the American
League in a real pitchers duel, 2-0. Bret Boone
of the Florida Devils was named MVP as he supplied all
the offense with a 2-run homer off of Esteban Loaiza
of the Doolie Superbas. Manager of the AL Team,
Chris Tomlinson was quoted as saying, "How can I
get this guy Boone to Richmond?" On a
side note, Loaiza was seen slitting his wrists as he
drank himself into a stupor with fresh Minute Maid
Orange Juice.
