Player
Award
(BOPA)
The BOPA is a unique look at who the TBBL thinks is the best
offensive player in the simulated game for the current
month/year.
The BOPA uses a combination of offensive statistics, both
positive and negative to rank players based on their
performance in the current season of the TBBL. Based
on June statistics, the top 20 Best Offensive Players are
listed below:

The players awarded the BOPA for the third consecutive
month were Alex
Rodriguez of the Los Angeles Halos and Albert Pujols of the
San Francisco Seals.
AROD, who leads everyone in just about everything has 38 long balls.
Rodriguez helped the Halos to a league best 61 wins. Pujols has been the most consistent player in
the National League since he was drafted 1st overall in 2004
by the Seals. Pujols is batting .347 and smacked 17
homers and drove in 60 runs.
The BOPA will be updated at the conclusion of each month
during the 2009 season.
